Role Description

This is a full-time* hybrid role for a Bookkeeper, based in Hawthorn East, VIC, with flexibility for some remote work. (*open to discussion for the right candidate)

What were looking for

An experienced bookkeeper who is a team player, organised and looking to be part of a dynamic and friendly team. Ideally you will have significant experience with Xero and are comfortable with all aspects of the bookkeeping function, including:

  • Payroll

  • Accounts Payable

  • Bank Reconciliations

  • BAS/IAS

  • Billing/Invoicing

As a bookkeeper you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the bookkeeping function for a range of clients. You will work closely with all members of the team, providing a valuable contribution to the management of the finance function.

Ideal Background

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping role/s

  • Significant experience with Xero

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work as part of the wider team

  • Able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and embrace the biotechnology industry
