Isolation of Genomic DNA
For Cloning, RFLP, or PCR Templates
Merlin Core Services isolates genomic DNA from any source using methods that are appropriate for the subsequent use of the DNA.
DNA isolated by the G Nome Method has a median size of approximately 80 kb and is excellent for making genomic libraries or for RFLP blots.
DNA isolated by the FastDNA method has a median size of approximately 25 kb and is used as a template for PCR.
