Every molecular biologist is familiar with the problems of storing literally thousands of small sample tubes in the freezer. Being organized so that a particular sample can be found quickly and without disturbing other samples is almost impossible, and a few invariably fall out and become lost.

BIORACK 3D is a modular rack filing system designed to simplify sample storage. Its individual pieces can be assembled in a variety of different ways, vertically, horizontally, or even in "split-level" combination of the two, enabling the researcher to utilize to the fullest extent any available space, no matter how oddly-shaped, in the refrigerator or freezer. The BIORACK can also be converted quickly and easily into shelves or drawers for use on the bench for keeping an organized array of microcentrifuge tubes in a compact area.

• The flexible, modular three dimensional system expands with your needs, making the most of limited storage space. The small BenchRack model can hold 100 tubes. The BioRack 3D can organize up to 25,000 specimens in a standard refrigerator or freezer.
• Sliding trays make even hard to reach samples easily accessible.
• The basic unit consists of 15 tube trays, each holding 50 tubes, and 6 racks for holding the trays in various configurations. Also included are 12 connectors for fitting the trays together, and labels for easy recording of samples. Thus, the basic unit can store up to 750 1.5 ml tubes.
• The double unit consists of 35 trays, 12 racks and 24 connectors, and can store up to 1750 1.5 ml tubes.
