RPM®SPIN Midi Kit
For the Frequent Cloner
BIO 101's RPM® Spin Midi Kit is designed to economically produce sufficient quantities of highly purified plasmid DNA for most uses - 50 to 150 µg - in less than one hour per twelve samples. The high quality DNA produced by this procedure is suitable for manual DNA sequencing, PCR, in vitro transcription, and various enzymatic manipulations.
Procedure: RPM® Spin Midi uses the same basic BIND - WASH - ELUTE protocol employed by the RPM® miniprep Kit, and thus requires no extraction with organic solvents, no alcohol precipitation steps, and no use of syringes, vacuum manifolds, or slow columns. The use of BIO 101's special Spin Modules eliminates the need to repeatedly pellet and resuspend during washes, saving additional time and effort, and ensuring that all traces of Matrix have been removed from the final elution. All purification steps are carried out in the microcentrifuge.
Available sizes include 25, 75, and 200 preps.
